| The Timed Loop Break Unit can be located
on any network where remote control of a hook-flash signal is required. The
unit monitors the line looking for the unique signal code.
When this code is received the unit disconnects the line for 100 milliseconds. This is
recognized as a hook-flash signal to the line circuit of the PABX. Dial tone is then
presented to the distant end and the call can be diverted elsewhere within the network.
